Dead speedometer

My speedometer stopped working yesterday. The needle just stays at zero and it does not move, so I can't tell how fast I'm going anymore. Are there any quick fixes or do I have to take to the stealership? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

a GPS would tell you the speed, but could get annoying always having to have it. you may also install a readout, which plugs into you OBD port. this will give you speed, rpm's, voltage, mpg, etc. You may want to go to the stealership and just see, but it sounds awfully expensive.

my speedometer is not completely dead; sometime it works and sometimes nada. i guess it might be an electrical issue. my rpm still works fine and i'm using that to estimate my speed.
