    K&N Air Filter Available

The concern was about warranty issues and Toyota backing up the product. Personally, I think K&N research is better than TRD's. That said, I have a TRD CAI with oversize filter box on my Tundra and have no issues at all. If the filter is serviced correctly you are not going to have any problems...

    Few and far between

Not many 2010's here in central PA but wouldn't you figure the only other one I see is a Silver SR5......just like mine. The difference is I have the third row seat and they don't. Smile and wave boys, smile and wave.

    K&N Air Filter Available

If your concern is causing a problem because it isn't OEM product, you could wait for the TRD filter to be released......I'm sure it will come out sooner or later. Toyota stands by TRD products. I don't think it is a problem, K&N has a great reputation for quality and research behind the...

    Toyota Full Synthetic

I was under the belief that each individual dealership is under contract with different company's for the oil supply. I know my local dealership advertises that they use Castrol Motor Oil. I guess you could request a different brand if you wanted to but in my experience I never had any problems...

    Mud flaps, Ventshields, & Accessories

Yes, thats what we are talking about. No, not all models of SR5 came with them. Yes, they are the part #'s as discussed in this thread. (Which is why I have indicated on nearly every post I've made that these are NOT MUDFLAPS).

Philsey--I can't tell from your pic. The front guards are small and only cover the inner 2/3's of the fender well about 6 inches from the bottom of the body. You should be able to tell if you have an overlapping piece around the bottom of fender. It appears you have them on your pic but I can't...

    First Issue With 5G 4Runner

I think the "max" a/c setting recirculates the cold air in the car as opposed to bringing fresh air into the vehicle.

photo of mudguard. sorry for the delay, honestly wasn't trying to cause anyone any pain. as you can see, it is a plastic piece that lines the fender well area. according to my salesman, whom I spoke with yesterday, 99% of the 4x4 models have these already installed as part of an appearance...

    Mud flaps, Ventshields, & Accessories

Just ran down the street to my Toyota dealer where he has 2 4Runners. The Limited has these already in place and I didn't see any notes on sticker that they were added extra. The SR5 model was just like mine, interior fender was painted. These guards cover that lip that is exposed. My guess, and...

    Mud flaps, Ventshields, & Accessories

So I'm having a discussion at work last night with a friend of mine and I showed him my mud guard install. He said that what I installed were true mud guards to protect the interior of fender. He said most people think of mud flaps that stick down and prevent spray over the side of vehicle. If...

    Mud flaps, Ventshields, & Accessories

Those part numbers are correct. They are the black plastic material found on the mudguards of the Tacoma. The dealer was correct, the front guards are on the smaller size but seems to me they function well. The fit was perfect and no need to drill into your new machine! If you are going for a...

5th Gen Wet Okole Discussion & Picture Thread

I can't speak as to the fit on the 4Runner but I installed them in my truck and the rear split seat install isn't that bad. I will mention to you that I can't get a good fit around the arm rests but I don't know if that seat has the rest built in or not, my 4Runner has a 50/50 seat in the back...

    Mud flaps, Ventshields, & Accessories

Really, that's what he said. Well I just picked mine up at the dealer and while yes, the front splash guards are on the smaller side, they fit like a glove and seem they will provide perfect protection to the lower portion of front doors. The rear flaps are almost as large as the ones on my...

My quest for a TE with nav (West Coast)

Good luck with your search. 4Runners in general have been hard to come by. I searched for a SR5 with a third row seat for 3+ weeks until I located it out of state. Drove 200 miles to get it but after driving it for the last month I'm very happy I did.

I see a huge sale in some Toyota dealers future if somebody could just post part numbers or phone numbers of the dealer that can get these darn mud flaps. Seems to me that 50% of SR5 owners are ready to buy these things.
