Buying advice - new/slightly used, limited or SR5 premium

Also, search xreas suspension system. this comes on the limited. most like it, but once a leak develops in a shock or anywhere in the system - it is usually cost-prohibitive to replace. you can install regular shocks, so not a big deal. but if you are looking for a used 4rnr with 55k miles...

Buying advice - new/slightly used, limited or SR5 premium

I would personally go for the limited. Not only for the leather, heated and cooled seats, but mainly for the full-time 4wd. I am in central Indiana as well and agree that we don't get much snow, what we get is usually patchy slick spots. with the part-time 4wd, like my Tundra, i keep it in 2wd...

Best speculation of a 2023 6th generation I have seen

New gx is 83” wide! Damn that’s as wide as my tundra. Good luck taking that through trails

How many miles until your original alternator and/or starter failed?

‘06 with 175,000 miles. Original starter and alternator still going. Great truck, but rust is really starting to eat the truck away.

Rear wiper and rear defroster does not work

try rolling your rear window all the way down and then back up again...then see if it works. if the rear window is cracked a little bit, it may not work.

    Not Another Annoying Tire Thread!

if you have a local Firestone shop, check their ads (usually in the sports section). i picked up my revos last year using their buy 3 get the fourth free...OTD price was $600 (no road hazzard, but free rotations for life)

    Not Another Annoying Tire Thread!

MikeinCincy, had the revo's in 14" of unplowed snow last year - and they were great. can't speak to how they will do for deeper snows - that was tops last year. Livin' in Cincy - i seriously doubt you will ever see more that 12" of snow.

    Not Another Annoying Tire Thread!

i love my revo's...as far as snow is concernced - i think the Revo's do great - very similar to BF AT's...i am sure the mud terrans would be better but not practical for me. The Revo's do have more tire noise than stock - but not too bad.

thank you very much! Recently, a coworker had the same problem with a nissan murano - he procrastinated and let it slip out of warranty and the seat actually broke when the suv had 36,600 miles on it - he is now facing a bill for $1050 to fix the seat!! nissan dealership told him to pound sand.
