I just got some from rockauto.com. Raybestos has a decent rebate on pads and rotors right now. Can't guarantee them not to rust though. Have them sitting here in a box, now to get them installed. :lookout:

Not sure about the pulleys when the belt is off. The toyota tech said that one pulley needed an "adjustment". It was the pulley on the power steering pump, and this was after the first belt break.

So, here's the deal... I started a thread way back in October about this and thought it was over, but the saga continues. A while back I had a serpentine belt replaced but the mechanic who put it on routed the belt incorrectly. Here's a link to my original post...

A lot of people, including me, run that size tire with no problems at all. I don't have the BFG AT's, but many do. Your speedometer may be a couple of mph, and you may experience a slight rub at full lock (I do). But everything else should be fine. I should also mention that I have an SR5...

I don't use a torque wrench either... just go by feeling. Also, I secure the socket to the extension with black tape...... and I remove the extension from the wrench when starting the threads to keep from cross threading.

I agree with Acidmeld.... You need to engage it regularly to keep things properly lubbed (okay stop giggling and get your mind out of the gutter! LOL) If I'm not mistaken, the manual recommends engaging 4HI for about 10 miles/ month. Also try: - shifting while rolling at low speed with wheels...

Thanks for the input guys. Just to update, I haven't noticed any problems resulting from this issue and I don't think the belt is worn bad enough to shorten its life span.
