re Haha 29. I have a basic mechanic set so I'll be fine. I just live in an apartment without a garage so I don't have ton of room for much beyond that. before the 4runner I had a honda accord and never had to do anything with it. I'll admit I'm a total rookie when it comes to working on trucks...

re Appreciate the response. I have a pretty good knowledge of 4 wheeling, i just want a little more clearance than i have. I scraped a few rocks on the bottom when I was off roading the other day so the skid plates will definitely be necessary. I'm going to try to take the running boards off...

re my buddy was telling me i needed some kind of high pressure tools to do that. I have ramps. what would i need once i got under there?

offroading whats the minimal i need to do if I want to be offroad ready in an sr5? I was thinking 32s or 33s and a 2-2.5 lift. will that be enough?

tools do i need any high pressure tools or can i handle it with a standard set?

5k I'm taking mine in for the 5k checkup at the dealership tomorrow. do you think theyd take my running boards off for me? what would they charge for that?
