Over the weekend I picked up a set of factory heated leather seats. Looks like the heated seats are 5 pin, and my factory power seats are 3 pin. Has anyone done this swap before? I have the pigtails for everything. I want to use factory switches.

I disagree with those saying that factory didnt put in red coolant until 99, my 98 had red coolant in it from first timing belt job.

Very interesting seeing how much a vehicle like our 4Runners can cost over a certain period of time. Hopefully gas doesnt go up, because my MPG is going down some.

That is a real slick looking bumper. Although I would advise against Addicted Offroad's rear tube. Mine never fit well, tested on another 4runner and same thing.

I do enjoy taking my 4Runner out and getting it dirty, but also like the look of it completely clean inside and out.

Didn't even need to modify anything! Worked great.

My 4Runner had brackets that worked with a double din radio.

I would buy the one from the dealership that another member listed. Buying from a scrap yard is always risky and bending/flaring always has a risk.

Also bought some heated seats I need to figure out how to install.

Installed the later model cupholder mod!

I would also recommend doing body bushings while you're in there as well. Not a job you want to go back and do again!

Wow that lower arm was really rusty. Good work!

Best thing to do would be to remove strut and use a compressing tool to get more threads available.
