Thanks for the fantastic info BigFishAllDay (any everyone else who has contributed). Did the install yesterday and it was dead simple. Brakes feel great so far. 16" JAOS Excell II wheels are a confirmed fit WITHOUT spacers.

If it was me, I would steer clear of this one. Look at the trim under the headlights on the passenger side and where the fender meets the door. The body panels are all bunged up. Coupled with the fact that it's missing the bumper flares, it looks like it was a quick fix. I think for that...

Yep.. looks that way. I have a bumper with flares in Vancouver if you end up needing the parts. (I have a plate bumper now).

It's such a small piece that you could easily paint it yourself with a colour matched rattle can. Or leave it black...

On my truck, the little panel has a slot in it that slides into a tab on the fender. Then there is a single screw on the opposite side to hold it in place.

Sounds like you have the exact same problem that I had. The tops of my flares were also starting to flake, but not nearly as bad as the hood / roof. When I got my hood / roof painted, I asked for a quote on the flares / cladding (also two tone) thrown in and it was substantially more. I am...
