I bought my Runner used with a center cap missing and I am tired of looking at it or the lack of it I suppose.

The "badges" are more than likley held on by rivets. So underneath you would have rivet holes. E-bay sells center caps with no badges and no holes.

I have a 2003 Sport with over 125,000 miles on my V8 and haven't had any problems what so ever with the drive train. And as far as the east coast goes just look for any signs of rust on the under carriage. I doubt you will find any major problems.

I never knew the Runner had a system like that. Is the backing up technique for the Runner similar to that of normal drum brakes on older cars?
