I replaced the front rotors with Bendix and used OEM pads. Have about 8000 or so miles on the new rotors. No problems yet. I know it isn't a lot of miles so I will just have to wait and see!!

I saw someone mentioned checking the heat shield on the cats. You might also want to check your exhaust hangers. Slim chance, but you might have broken a weld and the pipe might be knocking against the hanger. Might just want to have a quick look if nothing else seems to help.

My '03 V6 has 74K and some change. The smell was still awful. Had the TSB done a week ago and it seems to be gone.

I adjusted my parking brakes last night and now they hold great. They will even hold with the vehicle in gear. I was replacing the rotors on the front and decided to check out the rear ones. I figured out how to adjust them when I had it apart and now it works like it should!

I should receive my Cornfed lift Wed. so as soon as I get it installed I can post some pics. I too am doing the lift first and then getting the 70 tires a little later.

Nobody has any info. on the rear brake line extension? I should be receiving the lift in about a week. I just need to know which bracket needs extended. Will it be obvious once I get the truck off the ground? Thanks again for any help you can send my way.
