    Uses for Post-OBD2 DLC1 Port?

Yeh, I was hoping the Fp/B+ fuel-pump-on jump was a possibility, but my DLC1 port doesn't have an Fp pin. I wonder if all G3s are missing this pin. You're right on ABS code clearance-- leave Tc/E1 jumper in place & Short Pin pulled, then step on brake pedal 8x within 3sec. Code should then...

    Uses for Post-OBD2 DLC1 Port?

So far I've found two WSM-outlined uses of the post-OBD2 DLC1 port. Pre-OBD2 it was used for a lot of interesting things. The two things found so far are: ABS System Code Check - AFAIK this is only done by DLC1 port - pull Short Pin, jump Tc & E1 pins. Engine Ignition Timing Check - jump Te1 &...

Making a cor (circuit-opening relay) test relay

Yeh, I been reading about the pre-OBD2 cool stuff for DLC1. I don't have a terminal in the Fp slot on my DLC1. The only thing I've come across so far in my 1997 T4R WSM is jumping pins E1 & TE1 (both of which I have) for checking the ignition timing. One doesn't pull out the 'Short Pin' for that...

Is there a need for cup holders on the 96-98?

SuperCharged Badge I'll be getting one of your cupholders. Any thoughts on making a 'SuperCharged' badge (like your ali 4WD badges) for those folks who have one? There's a few out there what with Tacos, T4rs, others. I'll be getting one after scraping the bucks together.

Making a cor (circuit-opening relay) test relay

1997 T4R DLC1 Terminals I had a good look at my DLC1 (engine bay) and there is no Fc terminal shown in the cover diagram (see pic). The closest is an Fp terminal. My factory WSM mentions in several places that the way to power the fuel pump is by direct jumping to the terminals on the pump...

Making a cor (circuit-opening relay) test relay

I'll see if I can get a decent photo of my DLC1, it's pretty tall and narrow.

Passenger window switch not working independently

Gotta be that MAIN SWITCH refers to the driver's master switch panel.

Making a cor (circuit-opening relay) test relay

I've learned alot from here with many thanks, want to contribute. I haven't found a summary of the interesting COR, so here goes. Additions & corrections most welcome. The purpose of this relay is to cut off fuel supply in case of accident or other. Even if the ignition is on, there will be no...

    Clutch Cancel Switch Wiring

In Poor Taste or No? I just wanted to add another 3-Wire CCS EWD to this really great thread. It comes out of the 1997 4Runner EMD Book I was able to score. Hope it's Ok to resurrect an old thread like this. Two of the four diodes in the 3-wire CCS illuminate the CCS switch text. The other...

It looks like the OP doesn't reply to this thread anymore; fair enough, it's been a while.
