LT285/75R16 options should have more 8 ply or load range D options. At least they did 7 years ago when I worked in the industry. It's a compromise that we have to make. I would always choose Load Range E over 4 Ply rated tires, but wish for more Load Range C tires or even Load Range D.

I would feel a lot more confident in that helping it I hadn't just had it flushed with 14qts at Toyota 7k miles ago :hurt: I definitely rather have it flushed again and be fine than have to replace it!

Still blows me away, 0w-20 just seems so thin. Even though I don't have a new 4Runner, that is a very interesting find!

To add to the winching. Throw a shirt, towel, blanket, jacket or whatever on the winch line. It should take the recoil out of it, or at least help. Mainly though, just stay away from it, and out of the line of fire if at all possible.
