Sorry, forgot this thread existed! No, 4runner has since sold. In case anyone wants to use it as an example for pricing their similar 4runner, it sold at $16,500.

Bumping to the top, closing on a property on the 12th so considering letting this go again. Now sits at 270k miles, otherwise not a ton has changed. Now located in Phoenix, AZ and dropped price slightly to $16k.

Correct - I am moving around quite a bit for the next year or so and having two vehicles will just be a pain so it's going into storage if it doesn't sell in the next couple days and will not be re-listed afterwards.

Thanks for the info! Fortunately I have a 5VZ (gas) 5spd manual so in theory that makes the swap the easiest, going to check out his posts now.

So that means you effectively have "all wheel drive" (4WD with unlocked center diff) and a manual transmission, right? How did you go about doing that? Did the multi mode transfer case bolt right up with the 5spd? Did you just need the wiring from the auto donor vehicle?

Is that an auto shift lever on a manual trans? Or what exactly is going on there?

Can anyone confirm if this: PTR29-60040 Is the part number for the first gen (gray) supercharger bypass valve/diaphragm? I think mine might have a slight leak in the rubber inside part as when I push the lever in, block the nipple with my thumb, and let go, it retracts about half way then stops...

I have a touch under 250k on my 4Runner, and it's been supercharged for every single mile, ever since 1999 as it was a dealer option. No drivability problems whatsoever, I finally pulled it off to send in for a rebuild preemptively as it wasn't really making odd noise and the nose cone spins...
