I'm looking to install a new head unit in my 4Runner Limited but I want to retain the factory microphone. Is it even possible or do I just have to run the aftermarket mic that comes with the HU?

I have a '12 Limited and recently put 17X9 with Falken Wildpeak 265/70's. No rubbing at all. The 4runner feels like it's riding how it was supposed to.

I have this unit as well and yes, you loose your steering wheel controls. You can however, get a unit to regain your controls. I've yet to install it in my 4Runner... I need to get that done soon. It's a great head unit but has it's quarks...

I'm an idiot... The polarity was backwards on one of the subs. Once I changed it back to normal everything was OK. I had convinced myself that I couldn't have possibly gotten those wires backward so I overlooked it.
