Hey all. It's about that time to get my timing belt and water pump replaced again @ 190,000 miles. I live in the New Orleans area and I was wondering if any of ya'll in my area knew of any local shops that can do the job at a reasonable price. The dealerships around here are asking over $1000 for it and that's out of my budget. I'm going to buy the kit myself and if I can find a good, competent tech I'll feel better about it being done right.
I'm mechanically inclined myself but the timing belt is kind of intimidating to me.
