Thank you! Are you referring to payments or MPG? The latter is only slightly different from the 4runner. Averages 15mpg with a range of 13-17. My 4Runner V8 never did better than 14-18. The newer V6s are 15-19. Not a huge difference.

Your post is EXACTLY where my head is at right now. The GC L is gorgeous and quite a bit more comfortable than the legacy GC. Road comfort was astoundingly better than my 4th gen Limited had ever been. But...the new GC L only gives you a selectable 4 low at the expensive Overland or higher trim...

Fair point, and kind of what I'm thinking. If I have to go Jeep GC L, it will be a 2-3 year car, at which point the warranty expires and I'll be ready to trade up for a 6th gen 4Runner or a Ford F150 Lightning.

I'd jump on the CarMax one. We've driven it twice. Don't love the exterior (blue) but the redwood interior and the trim spec is exactly what I want. Unfortunately, it's more than $6K over what the same truck does sell for elsewhere.
