Can you try to loosen the bolts on that crossbar and move it higher a little? There should be enough play in the bolt slots to get a little more clearance. 3M protective film strips on amazon, just need to cut it to length.

curmudge1 sorry for the delay, I don't check T4R as often as I used to. Backorders for crossbars are usually at most four weeks. We only mark something as in stock if we actually have it on the shelf. There is a wind fairing option for those crossbars. We recommend it for most applications...

We've got some bolt on handle/light mounts that just came back from paint a few days ago... working on photos as soon as the truck with them installed comes back from vacation this week :wink2: ETA photo!

We're not spending a ton of time on here right now. We are trying to answer all emails/messages, but we get a lot and prioritize answering current order and tech support related messages first, so if it wasn't one of those categories we may have skipped it and not gotten back to it.

I just put the latest prototype on my 4R Tuesday. It fit better, but still needs a little bit of tweaking.

The mounting ear got bent during shipping, that happens sometimes. You should be able to bend it back straight. If not then we can swap it out.

If its standard 5th Gen 4Runner crossbars, we're currently working on orders from around the week of April 12-16th, and should be getting a big batch in hopefully early next week from the powder coater that should take us through the next week or so of orders, which sounds like where yours would be.

Yes, the crossbars have to be adjustable. We simply don't sell enough of them to really justify keeping them in production and continuing to take up shelf space sadly, despite how much I love the early Trail. If there's enough interest we can do another run.
