Adding on here: I just switched from the XenonDepot LEDs to the Morimotos. MUCH happier with the change. I can already tell after one night of driving the beam reaches much farther down the road.

If it makes you feel any better, 1. It barely blocks the vents. Hasn't bothered me yet. 2. It has survived 6 months in the SF Bay Area. I don't think you could rip it out if you tried. The thing is bolted in there pretty well.

They mentioned needed to plug into the car because I asked "Can I just perform this reset on my own next time?" The answer was "no, you need our plug in." I'm assuming this was legit because I'm under warranty another 31,000 miles...

I just got back from the service center. All they said they did was "reset the running board module". I had no idea what that meant and when I got back in the car the clock was reset, both tripometers and the head unit were factory reset as well... Anyway, running board works fine now.

Dealing with what seems like a common issue... After a week in the snow/ice the passenger board will not retract until we start driving. I'm fortunately under warranty, but didn't see if anyone actually found a firm resolution for this.

A lot of good points here, I don't have time to quote everyone's, but thank you. I'm sure we could have bent something by sitting on it to get access to the third row. It also seems like having a 3rd row and folding down that seat occasionally might cause the gap. To the comment who said it was...

I see you have a carseat in the same seat as well. Something went wonky when I first moved the seat up a bit. Hopefully it's safe for the next week or so until I get time to bring it in.

Silicon Valley Auto Show I see Toyota has a large presence at the Silicon Valley Auto Show in March. Should I expect to see the 2020 4Runner there, or will this be more Camry, Corolla, Highlander territory?

You can already put a deposit down on a 2020? When is your estimated delivery date? The only reason I did a 2019 Limited instead of PRO was because of the lack of tech features... We have never ended up using the 3rd row because it's too much trouble.

That’s interesting (and unfortunate) that you had that experience. Any modern luxury car we have had won’t allow you to lock the key in the car like that. I don’t believe the current 4Runner does either.

The new screens are going to be the same POS ones in the highlander and current sequoia I believe. Get yourself the alpine halo 9 inch floating unit. You’ll be so glad you did.

Many of us with other vehicles have completely dropped the habit of EVER taking the key out of our pocket or purse. It’s ones of those once you have it you’ll never go back things.
