Hard to find Specs, Info & Measurements on 231mm 13WL Tundra Calipers & Rotors

Incredible post. Many thanks to you sir. I question I have. With such a tight fit using the 231mm vs the 199mm, would wheel weights have to be mounted in the outside of the rim instead of the sticky weights on the inside? I plan on doing this upgrade, but don't want to re-balance my new tires...

Centrifugal Clunking in Tranny. Only When Decelerating?

Just wanted to give an update. Got the whole family in the truck today with all the windows down and we were able to determine the sound is coming from the rear brakes!! Or that area. Tech spent 2 hours with the truck and said definitely tranny! Christ, that is why I always come to the T4R...

Centrifugal Clunking in Tranny. Only When Decelerating?

Well, I was able to drive today and put it in neutral while braking and I still heard the sound. Does that mean that maybe the tranny is not the culprit?

Centrifugal Clunking in Tranny. Only When Decelerating?

Yeah, the noise is coming from under my passenger seat or there abouts. The tech had it for a couple hours as said definitely trannsmission

Centrifugal Clunking in Tranny. Only When Decelerating?

I'm going to try that tomorrow. I guess putting it in neutral will isolate a tranny issue or not? The u-joints were solid, but not sure about the mount. Is there a way to check the mount? Thanks

Centrifugal Clunking in Tranny. Only When Decelerating?

Hello all. Maybe I can get some insight, but I think I am looking at a big repair bill regardless. 01' sport 4x4 with 192k started clunking only when braking from 35 mph. I brought it in and the tech said it was running low on fluid and definitely a tranny issue. If its a cracked fly wheel=...

    New tires 265/75/16 no lift

Just got a set 265/75/16 Ironman All Country A/Ts on my stock (190k on the springs) 01 sport with no rubbing either. Same color 4R as you. Really makes a difference with more meat on the pavement. Looks great

    Rear Coil/Shock Question

Hello all, quick question. I have a 2001 SR5 4x4. I recently had to replace the rear shocks because of rust out, so I put in some KYB KG54317 Gas-A-Just shocks. I should have replaced the coils at the same time, but didn't. Now I want to get 1 inch of lift all around since I am still on stock...

What to do with my rusted 01' sport. Time to move on?

Seems like the picture upload worked. If anyone wants to know where I went and you are on the East coast, it is Philip Ortiz Welding in Hopewell Junction NY. Happy New year to all

What to do with my rusted 01' sport. Time to move on?

Just wanted to thank everyone again, especially joec79 . Got the 4Runner fixed for a fair price by having rear shock mounts welded to the outside frame. It's been about 350 miles so far and no issues and the truck rides like it did before. Thanks again to everyone's input and advice. I am trying...

What to do with my rusted 01' sport. Time to move on?

Hey Joe, Thanks again. I'm not much of a tech guy either and have problems posting pics. Just a couple questions if you don't mind. I talked to Phillp Ortiz yesterday but he was super busy to answer. This is my wifes stock 4runner and is driven nearly 18k per year. Is this shock relocation...
