thanks for the replies. yes, i believe it has always done this. had it a year but the wife drives it mostly. until recently when i got in it. and yes, i wish i could let it sit and wait for it to warm up. but when the wife and kids jump in it to go to school, that's unrealistic..:(

my 2008 has a high idle. about 1200 rpm at start up in warm weather.. is this normal? seems high and is annoying when trying to back out of the drive. thanks for any useful comments. LB
