I think we all just want to know... why?

If you've been around the "overland" scene or anything that deals with taking a Toyota off-road in the last 5 years, chances are you've heard of the brand "Pelfeybilt". A Southern California based fabrication shop dedicated to turning out some of the most desirable skid plates, sliders, and...

low profile case / box on roof rack?

Tools, lots and lots of tools. In the rear is a mish mash of gear I keep on hand at all times. Working in the firearms industry, I always have a range bag full of gear ready to go, along with a sleeping bag, a room for the awning, and other misc. items that are attached to the Rago panels. So...

Poll: Toyota Extra Care Extended Warranty: Yea or Nay?

Extended mine to 4 years, 125K miles. I drive a lot. I had to use it to replace the rear lock actuator on the lift gate roughly 18 months ago. The vehicle is currently 2 1/2 years old with 80K miles on the clock. All in all, I'd rather have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

    Proline Rear Bumper Installation

Seems like it’s always something with that company. Two years ago I tried for months to buy a set of “sliders” from them. Ended up driving down to their shop in Miami To get them. Used them for a year before chucking them for Pelfreybilts.

    4 owners in 8 years!?!

As frequently as people trade these, I'm surprised it doesn't have more... Trades 10 for 11, then for 12 etc... Seems illogical but hey, to each their own.

ARB Twin on Slee Mount - Mud issues?

You're good to go. Mine has been mounted for at least 6 months and has been in the thick of it a couple times since. Still looks and operates as new. So no issues with the mounting location at all here.

Compressor on rago modular storage panels?

Your issue won't be mounting one, rather supplying the necessary power to the unit that has a significant amp draw so far from the battery. I know the ARB harness is ~6ft, but from the cargo area, you'll need at least double that and a larger gauge wire to compensate for the additional distance...

    Xenon Depot

Exactly. There isn't a time when you go to their site and not find a *sale* on anything. The percentages always vary. You just have to time it right. In short, they got yo' ass! Good products though, I use their HID's & LED's. 2+ years strong.

    Lower Control Arm replacement experience

Sorry to hear about your troubles. For future reference, Toyota offers UCA's assembled with bushings & the ball joint installed. Or you can order bushings or anything else, except the ball joint, for the UCA's. Back to your original topic, if you concluded that the bushings were bad and the...
