sensor if memory serves me correct, in the middle of intake manifold closest to head for sensor. vsv is vac & electrical operated two wires two vac lines, one to top half of intake other to a/c idle up valve(actuator). good luck

check air intake tubes(hoses) between air flow meter and throttlebody sounds like one of them is cracked. remove them and then bend em check for cracks.
