I see. But can the extra sudden stress of a supercharger cause a certain part to crack, fragment, tear, etc. ??? You know, since I already have a decade+ old engine n the parts.

opp, i didn't realize this was the 4th forum. I have 3rd gen. I got it used. and i feel the engine may have been rebuilt. i'm just getting info right now. i most likely wont get the trd supercharger until 2-3 yrs.

Something being hydrophobic DOES NOT mean its a carcinogen! Get it straight. Look at the roots of the work. Hydrophobic = afraid of water. You want an example, cooking oil is hydrophobic. If hexane is an ingredient , then it can be toxic and precautions should be taken to limit exposure. Check...

man this is whats wrong with my runner! i press the gas pedal all the way down! and it seems to just accelerate faster than average... i feel no power. so is the consensus to look at the TPS and fuel pump? How do i fix them? is this something to leave to the professionals?

I dont know about gaining power...... I have both k&N Cold air intake and vortex muffler, and I felt I lost some power. my mechanic thinks so too. Additionally, i cleaned the maf sensor when the newly installed pre-oiled filter oiled up the sensor pretty good. So good that my engine would die...

Having my K&N cold air intake seemed to have decreased my 4runner's power. It lost alot of low end torque, and I can't tell whether or not the high end torque is affected because I normally do not need to rev in those ranges. I guess you can say I regret buying the K&N system, but I don't have...
