There's so many variables but why was the engine rebuilt? What was done during the rebuild? New bearings, oil pump, balanced, new pistons, what level of valve job, how many miles were on the engine if it wasn't a 100% rebuild?

you are in the correct forum, I was told that as long as it passes a compression test you should be good to go!longeeMAC said:opp, i didn't realize this was the 4th forum. I have 3rd gen.
I got it used. and i feel the engine may have been rebuilt. i'm just getting info right now. i most likely wont get the trd supercharger until 2-3 yrs.

I have not been able to install my supercharger yet! As soon as I have the $$ and time I plan to have my timing belt changed and compression check done. the results of that will determin when I put the S/C on. Now as for stresses if your engine was rebuilt properly(toyota O.E. preferred) you shouldnt have any problems.longeeMAC said:I see. But can the extra sudden stress of a supercharger cause a certain part to crack, fragment, tear, etc. ??? You know, since I already have a decade+ old engine n the parts.
