Im with Dusty its a matter of opinion. At first I thought they were hideous but the more I look at them and now that I have driven one I think they are beast. Now I only dont like them becasue I dont have one.
I would follow those instructions if I were you. I have been doing custom car audio for about 7 years and every time I have worked on a T4R those are the steps I have taken to get the radio out. Wether it be factory or already aftermarket. Hope this helps. Good luck!
