Fair enough! I’ll do more frequent than minimum recommended by factory schedule as well. Will my more frequent changes make mine last longer? Who knows, but The Car Care Nut has persuaded me. I plan to drive mine ‘til the wheels fall off, but if for some reason I don’t whoever gets it will...
I guess that's an advantage over say powder coating. Paint is more easily touched up. Also, I suspect powder coating wouldn't hold up much if any better than paint to rocks on the trail.
