Did TRDPs have unique valve stem caps?

Serious question. Did TRDPs ever have "special" valve stem caps?

I've owned a barely used 2022 TRDP. I own a purchased-brand-new 2023 TRDP. Both had the pictured valve stem caps. Given my huge sample size of 2 I reached the inescapable conclusion that all TRDPs (at least 2022 & 2023) shipped with those valve stem caps from the factory (or perhaps port installed, whatever). However, now I'm questioning previously settled science—serious question, do these valve stem caps have anything to do with Toyota or TRDPs?

Since I started questioning it (about 10 minutes ago) I can't help but notice they look an awful lot like the ones from Slime. I do not have any Slime in my T4R tires, but the caps look very similar if not identical.

I swapped out the factory Nittos for Wild Peak AT4W, and about 10 minutes ago realized I had 3 different valve stem caps now (having gone into the tire shop with four matching "TRDP-spec" valve stem covers (or so I thought)). That's why I'm asking.

No, the TRD Pro's didn't come with proprietary valve stem caps. Did you buy both 4Runners from the same Dealer?

Some places make a big deal out of selling or claiming Nitrogen fill, and install green valve stem caps denote that.

The air we breathe is 78% Nitrogen. No place that advertises 'Nitrogen fill' inflates the tires in a vacuum, so you will never get 100% Nitrogen fill anyway.

Bottom line: You can use whatever valve stem cap style you like.

Sounds good. Thx.

For a few years, I honestly believed they were "special" TRDP caps, lol. Live and learn. It's totally laughable now.

I agree with the Nitrogen explanation. I bought a 23 Limited that came with Nitrogen and the stems are similar.
