Well, the battery terminal trick worked. At first I thought it did not as the window popped back down halfway. I then closed it again and held the switch up for a few seconds and did the same thing when all the way down. Then switched it to auto-up and it stayed up. Wiper washer all set as well...

Forgot I had an airport run today, will get er done Tuesday. I did double check the weatherstripping and put a folded towel over the end of a flat screwdriver and cleaned the channel, which was fairly dirty. No help.

I am still doing the free oil changes at Toyota and thought I would have them install while here for an oil change. I will be using non oem techs after last by free change and would rather have the stronger part. Guess I will wait. Don’t change my own oil.

Surprised to see the cost of that adapter at $200. I guess it makes sense if you do your own oil changes. I do not do my own changes. I could see a service tech spinning that sucker loose and not retightening. The fact that it also adds another potential gasket to leak is an issue for me as well.
