Sounds like the AT3 will do you fine. Great tire for the Highway. Had zero complaints with them in the rain and snow. If you said you spent more time off road, I would say go with a more agressive tread. That's the only reason i swapped them out for the Cooper ST Maxx

Move the exhaust to side. Fairly cheap to do. Makes a huge difference if you like riding with your rear window open.

If all else fails, you might want to check out your lower control arm bushings. I had similar sounds coming from my 2011 trail except the clicking sound was not constant but all of the rest of the symptons you stated were there.

Truthfully those spanner wrench's suck. Go to Home Depot and buy a 4 inch pipe wrench and a smaller pipe wrench. I found it to be a lot easier to turn because you have better leverage. Trust me they are not that easy to move after having them on for a while. it will leave marks on the aluminium...
