I know you might be set on stock...but I see nice double-DIN Eclipse touchscreen navs on ebay for reasonable prices. One 1-yr old unit I saw recently went for $855 with antenna, etc.

i know this is probably amply covered in the search, but what are people's complaints about the stock sport Dunlop rubber? they seem fine for on-road driving...get a little light in puddles, but nothing bad (esp not in 4wd). the only thing i want to do is flip the white lettering to the inside :)

yep, i agree. i was impressed when i felt it downshifting while driving around. when slowing to a light i usually feel it downshift as the RPMs get near idle. the other day i was driving down a steep, long-ish hill and i just manually downshifted to 3rd rather than wait for the transmission to...

there seems to be a small bit of misunderstanding in some of the posts...there is no difference that I can tell between the V8 and the V6 in 4wd, in terms of the way the system works — it's not the typical 4x4 system without a center diff. I do use the 4wd on the highway when it's rainy...

No worries — he was just saying it sucks that those are the option packages they choose, without that combination. I have both moonroof and airbags. I liked the selection of cars I saw. But the SR5s were definitely more bare, with no moonroof, no leather wheel (but they did come with airbags...

At first I wanted to not have a hood scoop, but after getting the car and driving it, I love it! It actually feels "sporty" from inside the car, heh. The irony about something like this is that the rest of the car is not judged as being purely aesthetic, but when someone slaps a non-functional...

I did some poking around on the "build your toyota" sites for different regions. I looked at New England and Southern California and I think neither of these places offered side airbags on some of the models. Very strange! So if anyone wants to select from cars that all have the airbags...come...
