My truck does the same thing. Park and Neutral keeps the revs just higher than Reverse and Drive do. Never really thought twice about it being any sort of problem. Not sure if this helps you or not! Edit: Forgot to mention, I have an 04 SR5

Also, on a side note, the loop that connects the key fob to a key ring has broken off so its pretty much been a pocket-carry item recently. The dealership says $50 but that seems a little crazy for some replacement plastic. Anyone know of any solutions?
