Central OR is beautiful. Bend is a neat town, good micro brews. Very close to mt bachelor, excellent fishing and mountain biking. Pic from my sig is from a small spring fed creek just south of bend. I would love to live there if I could work out a job transfer to the area

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to check out the Peter Grubb hut. Have done a far amount of fishing around grouse ridge but didn't think about snowshoeing up there. Yeah should have posted in off topic thread, maybe the moderators could move this??

Well winter is around the corner and hopefully some snow will come with it. I'm interested in some snowshoeing trails around the Truckee area that also may require a little snow wheeling to get to. Post up some of your favorites trails. Pics always help too Thanks
