Talk me through brake bleed/fluid replacement

Just as a reminder to flush your brake fluid every so often. Over the weekend, I replaced a seized caliper, rotor, and brake pads on my girlfriend's honda accord. I made sure to bleed the brakes while everything was apart, and since I installed the caliper with a speedbleeder. Here's what came...

Very cool to know, I had no idea. This mod was easy enough so wasn't too crazy, took about 25min or so. Here's the end result: (sorry for the blurriness)

4TH GEN - Anti Dark Underhood Installation Walkthrough- PIC HEAVY

This afternoon amid sporadic rainfall, Bob J and I decided to install our newly acquired Anti-Dark Underhood LED lights on our 4th Gen T4R's purchased through a group buy found here: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/sale-t4r-items/195255-under-hood-led-lighting-%2Agroup-buy%2A-spring-2015-a.html I...

    sunroof stuck open

I use my sunroof all the time in the summer and this thread is not reassuring. Do you have any recommendations for preventative maintenance? Should I regrease the track to prevent any issues in the future? Any specific types of grease or tips for application? I haven't had any issues with it...

    When I Plastic Dip rims?

I assume you're talking about the commonly flaking alloy rims. Take a brass brush to it and get that all off before dipping them. Make sure to have the first sprayed coat light, better to do many light coats than a few thick ones. Also don't bother taping off the tires, just spray directly on...

Upgrading tires, need help deciding which

Right before the winter I was in your exact position to decide what to get for new tires. I wanted something that was a good daily driver, but very capable in the snow, rain, and occassional offroad. General grabbers were high on my list, but ultimately I decided on the Cooper AT3s, I'm very...

Talk me through brake bleed/fluid replacement

With speedbleeders its easy to loosen the bleeder on the caliper and pump brakes. Easiest to do with two people. Just make sure to continuously top up the reservoir as it drains so it doesn't go dry.

Talk me through brake bleed/fluid replacement

Speedbleeders are well worth the extra cost. Something I've noticed about the air bubbles is that if the hose isn't perfectly fit onto the bleeder, it can pull external air into the tube and make the appearance that its coming from your brake lines. Just something to be aware of. Also it sounds...

Advice Toyo AT2 Purchase P or LT

Cooper AT/3's are impossible to beat in the snow, I just bought four new before our record breaking snowfall in Boston this year. Never had to shovel out my spot once. Great tire for the price.

    toyota brake rotors

I replaced my brakes with Brembo rotors, Green Stuff Pads and Napa calipers (pistons often freeze so will be free to replace if they do). No complaints so far except honestly I think the Green Stuff pads are overpriced for what they are. Also be aware, slotted and drilled rotors look cool and...

    Swaybar Bushing Upgrade

While this thread is resurrected, what's the best place to buy a full poly bushings set? Thinking I can try to do more than just my swaybars.
