This nutural position safety switch on my 04 automatic apparently is there so you dont start the rig in gear. Its supposed to allow you to start it in either park or nutural but Lately I would have to work the shifter back and fourth from park all the way down to D and then back up slightly past...

Some time ago my 4Runner wouldnt start without putting the auto shifter into nutural, since a couple months ago it has gotten much worse to the point that yesterday I spent the better part of the morning going from park to low to nutural trying to trigger a start up and after several attempts...

I have been having issues with starting my Runner nearly since I got it. I have to masauge the shifter around the mutual position in order to start it. Also it does not go into gear unless I put it in 3 first then back to D before the D lights up. Any suggestions? Thanks Sent from my iPhone...
