    IPod/IPhone Cable Routing

I also did the same. Drilled a hole in the corner below the AC outlet and it will slide in and out as far as I need it. Super easy :bigok:

Am i the only 4runner owner getting 11mpgs?

My readout has leveled off at 19.4 and I usually calculate my actual mileage (with my iphone app :) ) to be between 17.8 and 18.5 (combo city/hw). There is def. something wrong somewhere if you are getting such terrible mileage. Sorry I can't provide a solution. I can ask another question...

    Oil Dipstick

You know, I had this same issue the other day when I changed my oil. I noticed that that tube was beginning to rust or something. I also noticed that my o-ring was really dry. I put some o-ring conditioner on there but I forgot about it until I read this post. I should probably go check on it :)

    2004 - New Radio, Stuck in 4H

I changed out my 05 stock jbl stereo for an 07 jbl. Once I had my whole console out, I had to move my truck. This obviously meant that I did not have the 4wd switch plugged in. When I started my truck, it was in 4lo with the diff locked. Needless to say, I couldn't move my truck (as it was...

    4th Gen Buyers Guide

If you do a lot of golfing, esp with buddies, you should go with the rear cargo system. You can only fit one, maybe to bags in the back laying left to rigth w/o resting your clubs on their heads on the wheel wells. When I have more than myself, I lift up the cargo shelf and put the clubs up there,

    make me love my t4r

i too have been thinking about unloading my T4R and getting something a little cheaper. I decided against it for the very reason stated above. So, I just refi'd from 8% down to 3.99%. My payments are cheaper, i pay it off sooner and I have about 8k in equity according to NADA...happy...

    well this sucks ...Borla

I replaced all of the borla hangers with the stock Toyota hangers. I too was having the issue with the crappy Borla hangers splitting. The rubber they use is way too hard while the toyota rubber is softer and can handle being torqed more. I think the hangers are relatively cheap from toyota...

    2006 toyota 4runner lifted

I'd trade the 20s in for 16s and make up the difference with tires. It will ride a lot better with less jarring! Looks pretty sweet, though ;) Do a full LED swap on all the bulbs

Which Snowboard Rack Should I Get?

I have a Big Powder Hound mounted on the stock crossbars. I wanted the fat cat 6 initially bc its super sexy (for a ski/snowboard rack), but needed room for 4 boards with bindings. The height with the BPH allowed me to do this.

    Upgraded to TRD V6 Exhaust

This was the first mod I did when I got my T4R. I got it from a guy on here. I didn't get a chance to really feel the difference between the stockers and the dualies but the sound is unbeatable. The only annoyance is when i am going up a hill in a low gear. The sound of the exhaust kinda...

What have you had to replace

My choice was between an '05 T4R and an '03 Discovery. I chose the T4R because you can't beat Toyota quality on their flagship vehicles and the LR was a Ford during the mass market SUV era. That said, I bought at 50k and am now at 81k. I just replaced the front brakes and have done regular...

    Uhwarrie National Forest, NC

Nice pics. I'm in Charlotte and have been wanting to get out there with my '05 but I don't have any friends who like off-roading nor do I have a spotter. I'm the same as thirstyturtle, I'm down anytime for a Uwharrie meetup!
