I was told to change the fluid at 75-90k, but the filter was a lifetime filter. They said they back flush the filter and it cleans it up well. There are now two threads regarding transmission fluids/flushes that are worrying me....

I too was told a tranny flush would not be bad. My dealer quoted me $129 for a full flush as well. Now i'm debating it because its close to 87k and i'm beginning to realize just how poor of care the rig was given by its previous owner.

Why did you go with a dolly rather than a trailer? When I drove from Florida to Pennsylvania, I got a quote for a dolly for like 130 or 180 for a trailer, and thats some wear and tear savings. I guess it depends on the distance you were traveling.
