    blower fan squeek

i am noticing sort of a squeeking sound coming from the blower fan when its on low. if i turn it any higher it doesn't do it anymore, i have fixed this in my past vehicle, 99 buick regal, by just replacing the fan, but I didn't know if this was a common problem, and if I could get by getting in...

    Tint Removal

might have to try the wife's blow dryer out on em, at least get them heated up a little to get a corner started with a razor blade, then hopefully they just peal off and im not too concerned about the residue, i think i can scrub hard enough to get that off.

    Tint Removal

Well I got a warning for my window tint the other day. Iowa is one of few that still ban it from the front windows. I got it installed about a year and a half ago and I instead of getting a hefty ticket ( its pretty expensive here ) I decided just to take it off. Anybody have any...

sorry for all the posts, but i think i found the one I am after. Its a Klutch and its a compact one that looks like it will fit in all the tight places and still be strong enough for the things I need. Kluch Compact Its a little more than i wanted to pay but i think in the end I will be...

The Klutch one looks pretty good, but its also 100 dollars plus shipping. I also found one that doesn't look too bad for 60 bucks plus shipping, but i am not for sure the difference is worth 40 bucks. Can anybody that knows impacts a little better than me compare these three and see if its worth...

Thanks for the replies. I am looking for an air one, i think the cordless battery one would be nice if you got it in a set with other tools so you only have one kind of battery for everything. I just got a new ( to me ) air compressor so i kind of want an air powered one, plus i think it will...

    Impact Recommendations

So I am now in the market for a good impact. It will mainly be fore taking tires off and doing minor things. Not going to be rebuilding engines or anything. But I don't want a piece of junk either. Anybody have any good recommendations. Looking to spend 60 bucks or less. Quite a few places have...

Changing Differential & Transfer Case Fluids - Pics Included

Yes I was using a 6 point. We ended up welding it on and it actually took quite a bit of strength to get it off after we welded it on, just bought a new one at the dealer before we did that. I bought used and it looked like the dealer changed the transfer case and rear, but the front looked a...

Anyone not get the front differential drain plug out?

I just did mine this last weekend. i did the others about a month ago, but i was stripping the front drain just like you. I ended up taking it to a friends house and we welded the bolt on, then it wasn't too hard to get it off. mine was to the point where we had to weld it on, it was pretty...

Changing Differential & Transfer Case Fluids - Pics Included

This thread is still getting use. I just changed my rear and transfer case to Mobil 1 75w90. I couldn't get the drain plug off of the front and i felt like i was stripping it, so i stopped soaked it quite a few times with pb blaster but it will won't budge. I read in another thread about heating...

    Rustproofing/Undercoating-opinion

I live in Iowa and we get quite a bit of snow and ice, which means lots of salt!! I used a product called Fluid Film before last winter, and another coat during winter and i think it helped a lot. Its not a paint or a coating so to speak, more of a waxy gel that you spray on. I just wire brushed...

    Ramp options

I too own Rhino Ramps, i use them for oil changes and drive shaft lube. So far so good, seem really sturdy and i feel completely safe that they will hold up. You could always slide a couple jack stands under there too if you have high jack stands, just for precaution.
