blower fan squeek

i am noticing sort of a squeeking sound coming from the blower fan when its on low. if i turn it any higher it doesn't do it anymore, i have fixed this in my past vehicle, 99 buick regal, by just replacing the fan, but I didn't know if this was a common problem, and if I could get by getting in there with some oil or lubrication and seeing if that would help the problem. Super annoying when the radio is down and the fan is on low.

Anybody else have this problem?

Somewhat of a common problem area for toyotas in general. Might be the fan bearing, in which case the repair would be to replace the fan. Just make sure there isnt any debris in there first.
