    Speed Sensor Test??

Hey folks, I am chasing an ECM code #10. My main relay tests within spec all be it a little high. 75 and the spec is 60-80. The next test according the FSM is the speed sensor. I found it on the tranny next to the fill hole but the FSM doesn't give any info on testing it or the circuit. Am...

What year 1st gen is the best year?

I was lucky finding mine. Most want a good chunk if they are already built. I have a redonkulous amount of $ into mine. I wouldn't let it go for less than 6500. But I'd walk home if someone waved the cash at me. In reality the 85 solid axle 22re T4R is the holy grail of Toyota 4x4...

    Wheelers4Warriors

Anyone going on the Wheelers4Warriors Crown King run on Dec. 3? I'm planning on going with a couple of buddies from an IH Scout club. Supposed to be a large group and for a good cause. link

Did the Sunflower Mine Trail this past weekend with a friend who is in a IH Scout club. Had a great run and 4R did outstanding. I finished up the cage and my wife sewed me up a custom top. My original plan to tie down the rear of the top didn't work the way I wanted so I improvised for this...

Do different brand spark plugs, make a difference ?

I don't deal with shops very often but the last shop I did go to (for emission probs on an old Ford v8) recommended that I stay away from Bosch plugs. They said they use autolite only. The guys that work on our fleet vehicles at work use autolite also. In a Toyota, I would use whatever NGK...

So after getting the cage in and all padded up I took it out last weekend on the 27th. Didn't do anything crazy just hit a couple of trails near the house. On a particular off camber downhill I got some serious tire rub. No biggie. When we got home and aired up I noticed three knobs missing...

The PO told me they were trail gear...IDK. I bought the cage from a dude who is 6'4" and it didn't leave him any headroom. He said it was allegedly a custom made unit out of an 86 xcab P/U. and he was going to put it in his 4runner but it didn't work for him. I got it cheap. :biggrin2: I...

Took the insides out and finaly got a cage in... Built a mount for the CB up top and made me a door jamb antenna mount at the tail gate.

    3 row radiator?

2 is ok, 3 is better and of course 4 is best. Problem you may run into is room and mounting it. The PO told me this was a custom 4 core. I think it might only be a 3 but either way the gauge has stayed at a steady 185. It's gotten into the 80s here lately n I ran the air in traffic. 185*...

where I'm at so far.... Also changed out driver side window regulator, cuz the window was skippin and droppin but no pics of that and cut out some new plastic moisture, well in AZ it's a dust barrier under the door panel.

The next day I started on the outside. Taped and prepped. Goes by quicker when the wife helps roll the bedliner goo on the truck. Finished pics coming. Also painted fiber top and bed linered the door sill/jamb, sliders and rear view mirrors.
