Ok - the story gets better. I got the model number (AD6803) from the face of my 2000 SR5 and figured ok that’s the one I need for the 2002 SR5. Just came today. I go to put it in and the connectors are different. So the two plugs in my 2002 fit the right hand side jacks on the Highlander radio...

It almost seems like the previous owner may have done the valve cover gaskets already. If they hadn't been done with that age I would suspect some loose bolts and the little rubber washers to be toast - mine sure were. I did my valve covers and have a similar leak. I did the half moons but not...

Yes there is an o-ring where the cooler attaches. Sounds like you found the leak source.

Seems like with the pedal sinking, the loss of pressure almost has to coincide with fluid loss. Maybe you're right that it is a really small leak. What about pulling the wheels and pumping the brakes to make the pedal sink 10-20 times and then inspecting? Hopefully if everything is clean you...

You know best how it felt before and after the work. I guess it doesn't cost you anything to bleed everything again and see if there's any change or if you get any more clues

Hmm - that is odd that it was fine for so long and I haven't read of master cylinder failures on these. Although it's possible for sure. Hopefully someone else can chime in on how to isolate whether it's the MC or booster.
