You said you bought an 8" JL subwoofer to replace the one that is the back hatch area? Did you add an amplifier to add more wattage? I really feel this may be the main issue to my problem. Just curious what some of you have done in this regard.

Thank you for the responses. I don't know much at all about systems these day. I have the navigation head unit with a single disc cd player. I have 9,10,11 or so JL synthesis (?) speakers. The treble is pretty loud, but there is zero bass in this car. I'm coming from a 2002 Nissan Altima...

Okay, this is a silly question probably, but do I call JL direct or does someone know of a sales rep they would refer? I live in Bham, AL area, but travel pretty much all over the state.
