Thanks for your reply. I used to drive a Ford 250 4x4 diesel truck and believe me, my 4Runner rides rougher. It currently has about 88k miles and I believe the original shocks. I thought an indication of bad shocks was more of a spongy, bouncy ride rather than rough? How ofter do the shocks...
I recently purchased a 1998 4Runner and am very happy with its handling; BUT I can feel every crack in the road. I thought it may have been the old tires which I have now replaced. This did help--a little. I was wondering if anyone could offer any suggestions to make the ride better.
