Ethanol
I bought a ethanol converter so I can run on gas or ethanol. I am going to try to produce my own at home. Trying to save money. I hear the only issue that you might have is getting water in your fueling system. The water can cause rust. So I am going to buy a water separator/ fuel filter.
Hose!
It is a hose. Keep checking the back hoses on the back of the fire wall. One of them is leaking. It might be a small leak but it will get bigger. The space is tight so it will most likely be really hard to get the clamp off. It took me for ever and ripped the old hose to pieces but...
Oil leak
I just replaced the Valve cover gasket. It took me about three hours. Really simple and it took care of my oil leak. I would recommend using gasket maker with the new gasket. Be careful putting the old bolts back on the cover because they are brittle and will break if you use a torch...
Intake 3.0
I just bought an intake on ebay. It was only forty dollars so I am going to give it a shot. If it does barely anything I will still be happy because it will look good under the hood and will be a fun project. So if the price is right do it. Even if it only does hardly anything.

Yes it comes with a factory alarm. Mine was not working because of bad wiring from the battery to the fuse box under the hood. If you get the alarm working you have to get the key chain or every time you get in the car you will have to unlock the door and turn the ignition or the alarm will...
So I read the reviews online and I hear nothing but ok things about 3.0. I own a 3.0 and it is ok but the gas mileage is bad with the power I am getting. I have driven the 2.7 in a truck but never met anyone with the 2.7 4runner. So give me your thoughts on the different engines and what one...
Alternator might be bad
So first thing to do is check the Alternator. The best way to check is to start the car (that is if you can) unplug the battery while the car is running. The engine should run on the alternator. If it turns off then it means you need to take the alternator back because...
Yeah I was wrong
Ok I thought they were welded but they were in the engine bay. Thanks it was a little rough after that but I got it out. Thanks for all the tips. Now just have to weld the plate.
I am trying to get the clutch pedal Plate off but it seems to be welded to the back of the fire wall. So should I just rip the thing out or what? Any tips will be great!
