Update
Just letting everyone know that I took my 4Runner into the dealership to have them go through the front brakes and check the hydro/boost. I wanted them to go through what the other garage had done and check on the hydro/boost.
The night before I dropped it off the brake pedal was real...
Paraordance - Caliper Question
Paraordance - What did you use for calipers on the front? I want to go with the Power Stop setup.
We have a 2003 which we purchased in 2005 with just under 40000 miles on it. The 1st time we had the brakes done was at the dealership and we found out it had the...
I'm sorry but I don't have any measurements, just that it was cut from 1/2" MDF. I just used a piece of cardboard to make a template. I had to play with the amount of insulation in behind for the sound I wanted. I would look at trying a free air sub as atomic punk mentioned, you may be able to...
That is VERY cool looking. I was the one you referred in your original post about the intergrated sub. Unfortunately I don't have the expertise to go the fiberglass route but I'm happy with the way things turned out for me. I was not trying to attain window shaking bass out of it. My driving...
I appreciate the feedback. Thanks.
Free Air Sub, never heard of such a thing until now. I guess you could say it is free air in that it is not a totally sealed unit, there was a small gap at the top of my MDF. I ended up filling the cavity with some pink insulation which brought out the bass...
Pic 3 Finally shot, I had to fill the cavity with insulation inorder to get the bass out of it.
I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, not as deep as my 12" but now I've got room in the back.
Wanted to get some feedback on my 10" sub installation in the rear panel, amp is mounted under passenger seat.
Pic1 Panel removed with some undercoating spray in cavity for sound deadening
OK I can deal with that There is a way to change it that is the main thing. The down side is that it is not cheap I presume. Like I mentioned earlier maybe I can find one from a right off vehicle. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!
CLUSTER
So if I'm understanding you correctly it is the cluster that needs to be changed? I'm in Canada but I picked my 4Runner up in the US, it would be nice to have it in metric but I'am getting use to the US measurements.
Shimajilosan - So inorder to do this we would have to change the temp. sensor and/or change the display module or would it be a computer module somewhere. What I'am thinking is keeping a look out for a 03+ that has been wrote off, but we would need to know if it is one particular part or a...
