Aloha from Oahu. My 04 Limited 4X4 has a clicking noise when I am stopped on the road on an incline and I release my brakes and start rolling backwards. Is this the hill-start assist control malfunctioning? I don't have that option turned on at the times when this happens. Just wondering...

Aloha. 92 Octane is $3.249, 87 octane is $3.169 at Chevron. Going higher on Monday. And Hawaii is the only State with a wholesale "gas price cap".

My 04 Limited 4X4 came with X-REAS. It was listed under options.

Aloha. Paid $41K out the door including extended service contract. Unable to negotiate pricing on Oahu. No navigation, DVD, moonroof, or ride height adjustment. Didn't want these options anyway except for the ride height. I do have X-reas. I love my 4runner anyways. Best fishing vehicle I ever...

Aloha. 2004 V8 Limited 4X4. Gas here on Oahu is $2.60/gallon in town and I'm getting about 12MPG, what fun. I love my 4Runner, just wish I could squeeze out a couple more MPG's outta it. Good thing I don't drive more than about 350 miles a month. I too look for the V8 badge on other rides.
