Last year (3k miles ago) I noticed my 4runner sounded like it wasn't running right so after some looking around the forums I decided to clean the MAF, IAC and TB. I was thinking I should just cut the remaining portion out but I didn't want to mess it up. I guess I can always buy another "D" type gasket for a couple bucks . I'll get the dremel out tonight.

I'm referring to the O style throttle body gasket they used for the supercharged 4runners. Part # PTR29-60030.

No I didn't even think about replacing them. I'm hoping just cleaning the MAF, TB and IAC will fix my issue. Does anybody know anything about the O gasket? Why the hell is it $30+ everywhere? My stealership wanted $61. Is it worth $30? Is there another place that has it at a normal price?

Thanks for the reply. I changed the plugs about 15k miles ago. I'll test it out after putting it back together and see. The air filter was filthy if that has anything to do with it.

I'm posting in both Tacoma World and T4R forums. I have a 98 4runner with an Allpro Apex steel bumper (fits both vehicles). I'm looking to see if anybody has this bumper and has added a body lift. I've done some searching and haven't found any pre-made relocation bracket out there. Am I missing...
