Deadening the truck might help. If you add mass to the metal it will not vibrate as much. I would guess with what you have going on it will take a ton of mat.

yea, i did see your post and it is a nice install, but i would like to be able to get at my amps. i guess my sub amp could work somewhere back there (remote gain) but my comp amp will need to be accessable.

most newer car stereos have a 12v "power" supply that is tied into the accesory line and a 12v constant for backup that will read 12v when the car is off. check your stereo manual. no need to run a line to the batt for just a head unit. i think i tied mine into the cig lighter.
