This worked great for me on my 2016 TEP 4runner. I used Toyota OEM connector and used same diode. Saline Valley Dunes, Saline Valley, Death Valley

Just wondering did you have to tighten the bolts on slider using a torque wrench? Also did you use lock tite on bolt threads? my Shrockworks in coming in couple of days. Thanks.

Thanks for the response. I've Been to Death Valley NP couple of times but not the off road stuff. Was going to Race Track with the CRV (2wd) but turned around. I'll report back after I come back from the Saline Valley trip.

Planning a trip to Saline Valley Springs in Death Valley NP in October. Anyone been there through South Pass Saline Valley Rd? By reading road conditions it should be fine with 4runner.

If you don't mind, ill ask you some questions when I get mine.

I ordered Shrockworks with the plate. They said 6 to 8 weeks. I'll see how it looks when I get it. Should post some picks of your budbuilt ones.

We went there last Sunday and it was great. Great place to camp and amazing scenery the road to Lockett meadow was little narrow. Really enjoying new 4runner with KDSS. Definitely need to go back there in the Fall for Aspen trees.

Thanks for great advises. Since I wouldn't be doing anything crazy for now, I'll wait for a while. Someone mentioned that Toyota might void warranties if you drill or weld anything onto the frame.

I like schrockworks but they sent me a note saying I need to drill few holes on frames to mount their sliders.

new to the forum Just got a 2016 4runner TEP with KDSS. Looking for some advise on rock sliders. I'm interested in bolt on kind with metal plate on top and mounts flat. Also, that do not require any holes drilled. Thanks
