I grabbed one and thought i could easily swap out the innards. But when I got the fob, it was all glued together. So unless your getting the blade cut, not worth it.

For the record, I did get this Viper system installed over what was offered at the dealer. Viper does have GPS in the app so I can see where my T4R is at all times. Plus on the cool side, I can start my truck with my watch.

Coming from an FJ, the 4Runner is smoother and quieter in my opinion. takes me by surprise still.

This totally helped me. I made an appt with the dealer for next week cause I thought my week old $Runner blew a fuse. Tried this tonight and I must have hit the rear window just enough that the rear wiper and rear defrost was not working. It's all good now
