Purchased my Wife a 2017 SR5 4x4, put BFG KM on her with 5 miles on the original tires. Love the look and ride. Now time to start black her out

That's a nice looking rig. I wouldn't black it out. I like the silver accents with that color. There's a lot of discussion about 'hating chrome' in these threads, but except for the Limited, there's very little chrome on these 4Runners. Silver is not chrome. IMO blacking these vehicles out can cheapen the good look of these vehicles. It's not my favorite trend.

I have been researching T4R and it seems that the Trail, Trail Premium, and TRD Pro only come with black interior. I have not looked at the SR5s but I have been kind of wanting leather, and the Trail Premium has leather. The sand beige color only seems to come in the limited, and I was actually wondering if anyone had taken a Trail/TP or TRD and had the seats redone in beige. Georgia gets a little hot for black leather interior!

I have the Blue, although I did not want it. Initially I wanted White or Metallic Grey. I'm still regretting no holding out for Cement, however, I'm appreciating my blue.

I like things that are a little more unique. I have had mine for 2 months and I've only seen 6 blue versus 20 in white and 14 in metallic grey.

The blue is a great exterior color. The interior stitching with the softex is a horrendous contrast though.

Does anybody have (or have seen) Nautical Blue with either of these color choices of wheels? I'm looking into the Level 8 MK6's in either bronze or gunmetal gray. Gray is the safer choice but I'm really wondering how the bronze would look against this blue! I'd be running without center caps or with the flat caps painted black.

I'm torn on tire size/tread. It's my wife's daily driver, so I can't get too aggressive. Trying to decided between 265s (either AT3s or possibly some Hankooks), or one size up to 275s with just a 2"/1.5" lift.

I have 255/80s st maxx they fit stock without any issues, if thats what your worried about on going up a size.

My wife drives the 4runner daily with the little one, but I wish I would of gone with the cooper At3. Quieter and lighter for daily driving.

Depends a lot on the wheels. I've got Stealth Custom Series SR8 with the ST Maxx 255/80 and had to do a good bit of trimming off of the front bumper and the fender liner. I still rub the frame mount when turned and under compression. But every runner is slightly different so to each his own.

I just picked up a new 2017 TRD Off Road Premium today. My last 4runner was a 1985 that was set up as a dedicated rock crawler. I am really pleased with the new 4runner.

Not the greatest of interior colors, but I've learned to appreciate the dark interior. The 4Runner beige interior is just hideous.

How we sit at 10 K

So build has been going well here is where she shits today after 10k service... Thinking of going general AT2 285/70R17 hoping to just put them on stock rims not sure if that possible?

I want the TRD matte black rims but they are backordered till july... And i need bigger tires now because of the lift i look like i skipped leg day:wow2:
