I doubt I could get another car, I have bought and sold too many as it is. I just want a little more umph from the engine, especially before I put a lift and 33"s on it.

You got me there. I just want to squeeze as much power as possible out of my 4runner, but there isnt very much aftermarket support.

Does anyone know is the 5.7 liter in the new Tundra is the same block as the 4.7? If it is, I might possibly look into buying a set of the manifolds(which look more like headers to me) to put on my 4runner.

The Volant looks like the better intake to me just beacuse the filter is boxed in. This would almost eliminate sucking in the hot air from the engine bay. The K&N might come with a shield but it wouldnt do as good a job as the Volant. This is all my opinon though. I will be going with the Volant...

What all companies make intakes for a 2007 4runner V8?

yea I was going to go to an exhaust shop and have them fab up a custom X pipe and then put two mufflers to turn downs right after that. I just dont want to loose to much back pressure. And then Im worried about the sound since no one has done this.
